Why does it feel at times in life that there are
moments of divine timing?
How is it that it takes nine months for a baby to be
born, a seed to grow into a tree and a caterpillar to transform into a
butterfly? Everything in life requires delicate timing to achieve its due time
of destiny.
Photos are special because they have the power to
capture moments in time that will be gone forever. Time waits for no man and no
matter what we do can never be taken back.
Proverbs
19:11 - A mans wisdom gives him patience...
Why is it that we can be in the right place, with the
right people.....but the wrong time? A job opportunity, a relationship, a dream.....but
for whatever reason falls through?. Right place, right person but wrong time. And
time always seems to prevail.
Timing is everything in life. Movies abound of story
lines of defining moments in people’s lives.
Personal development, maturity, character and faith
are big themes for God. He has orchestrated divine moments of timing throughout
our lives. We therefore need Godly patience to see the big picture of what our
part involves in it.
I once prayed a very brave prayer that I later
regretted but saw later its much significance: “God, don’t release me until I
am ready.” Every door I desired was firmly shut for years! No matter how hard I
tried or how loud I was, opportunities, relationships, goals and dreams all
were sealed shut behind a locked bank vault.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To everything
there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose
under heaven
Consider the lives of David, Joseph, Moses, Peter,
Paul and Jesus. All men of faith who encountered seasons of private preparation
and personal development before they were released into destiny. Letting God
work on you and being willing to conform into His image is everything.
Today do you trust God’s timing for your life? Patience does not come naturally to a lot of people which can usually bring themselves and others great conflict. But Christians who have great patience have great trust in God. When you are ready
privately, you will be ready publically. And when God knows you are ready the
doors will open.
